On the contrary, Nazism was not an "uncontrollable wave" - it was voted for and welcomed and fought for and defended by the German people with open arms and shining eyes, and all Germans who did not actively fight its rise and embrace are equally culpable in Nazism's crimes whether they were Party members or not.

    Platinum,

I understand the feeling that underlines what you have stated in your last post, but it would be prudent for you to realise that unless the Moslems (the non crazed ones, to quote you) openly oppose the actions of the crazed Moslems and ostracise them openly, whatever maybe the sentiments that underline your post will not hold water.

The non crazed Moslems have to take sides. You have to openly oppose the crazed Moslems and be very upfront about it; or else no matter what is your unstated disgust for the crazed Moslems, the remainder world will find it difficult to believe your unstated disgust.

You must state your disgust openly and as a sizeable group to overwhelm the AQ and other crazed Moslems. You must make it your disgust towards the crazed Moslems a wave or who will believe what you say!

Au contraire my friend. The worst plunderers and pillagers from Islam came from todays Turkey. In medieval India, Muslim conquerors or wannabes were defacto called Turks, thanks to their association with such acts as a matter of course. The Ranas of Mewar for instance, always referred to the Moghuls as turks.
In modern day times, Turkey has been no better, for eg:

There was a very strong religious component to it all. Accounts of the time refer to the usual decapitations etc.

Kemal Ataturk sought to disassociate religion from state in order to create a modern state. But despite the militarys battle with Islamists, from other accounts, the military is no less insistent that the Turkish past remain as spotless as possible, reality be damned.

i know exactly waht you mean, i know exactly what these people are telling me, i tell other muslims the same things all the time myself, it's just we have too many sheep and no sheperd and until we get sheperds we will just exist as sheep standing around in fields, looking gaumless. so until then we have to try something, perhaps it's easier to help others understand us than to get the flock that i refer to as us to go an express ourselves.

I think what may eventually happen is that some nutter blows up a muslim others really like which then get's them all mad. Is there a Muslim leader out there who is respected and loved enough to be a martyr for freedom?

There was one man. Hes gone.

He was a firm believer in non-violence and Gandhis close friend.

There is another Muslim leader who has epitomized what humility and personal achievement can do, plus serves as an example for his countrymen.

    The President of India,

The commies hate him though, which I think is the final thing to denote his being a positive symbol.
