That's a pretty cool poster. I'd buy it if it were $15 rather than $30.
For Christmas, I want a job that I like, paying decent salary, and relatively close.
The countdown until Christmas has begun. The shelves are almost cleared of Halloween merchandise and it is apparent from retail shopping stores that it is closer than you think. 51 days and counting...
My Christmas shopping list is blessedly long but where to begin? What do you really want to get or give this Christmas of 2007?
More joy, time, less stress? Toy soldiers, a trip to Area 51 or the moon? A new AK-47, cammo undies, a new computer? A bullet for Osama? A flag pin for Obama? Peace on Earth? The new doll that actually pees? Etc. Before we get to Christmas, let me pause and stick Thanksgiving in there. I think that giving is a good way to show gratitude and thanks for all we've received. My warmest wishes to you and those you love for a wonderful holiday season to the secular progresives and a Merry Christmas otherwise.
Get a little creative, have a little fun and post your gifts and wishes here of what you really want to get and give!
I thought this would be a great gift for our American WAB members. It is a poster of where our tax dollars are spent. Death and Taxes: A Visual Guide to Where Your Federal Tax Dollars Go $29.95 seems reasonable.

All I want for this holiday season is 2 girls in my bed with a rippon on them.
However, I'm willing to settle for some time with my friends and possibly family.![]()

I want a trip home :(
All I want is a room somewhere,
Far away from the cold night air,
With one enormous chair.
Oh, wouldn't it be loverly?
Lots of chocolate for me to eat.
Lots of coal makin' lots of 'eat.
Warm face, warm 'ands, warm feet.
Oh, wouldn't it be loverly?
Oh, so loverly sittin' absobloominlutely still.
I would never budge 'till spring
Crept over the windowsill.
Someone's 'ead restin' on my knee,
Warm an' tender as 'e can be,
Who takes good care of me.
Oh, wouldn't it be loverly?
Loverly, loverly, loverly, loverly.
On a serious note: Christmas is the time to give. Bring cheer to those who are deprived of cheer!

All I want for Christmas is for this incredibly hypocritical and ultra-commercialized season to be over with as quickly and painlessly as possible...and with hearing as few Christmas songs as I can without blowing my brains out.
I don't think I'm asking for much.
The magical feeling I had when I was a child.
Nowadays I'm only annoyed by the ugly decorations, bumping into the Christmas tree when wandering around searching for a toilet in the middle of the night, closed shops, and all my friends having cozy family dinners leaving me alone that day.
And the Ho Ho Ho's make me wanting to punch up the Santa with a ZU-23 (once fired it as a child, neighbour was MVD Major).
This board seems to be pretty gloomy and angry without anybody that really looks forward Christmas. Personally, I don't celebrate Christmas and I never get anything good at this time of the year.
However, I would say the sights at NYC really look nice at Christmas even though its like what TopHatter and Entropy said.
Anyway, hopefully all the members still have a great holiday season no matter what you celebrate.

To get it over with as soon as possible! Tired of the commericialization. Otherwise, I just want to spend time with my family and friends! I get two weeks off during the holidays, and that is way too much time!

I want to make it through the season
without getting hit in the butt by some kids who should not be pushing a shopping cart anyway,
without anyone stopping by my car window when I am stopped at an intersection wanting to trade a $5 bill for a tootsie roll, it's not that I dont want to give - I just dont want to have strangers walking up to my car window unannounced,
without fighting for the last doll, toy, electronic device on the shelf,
without hearing "ho, ho, ho" more than 5,000 times,
without seeing It's A Wonderful Life 62 times on TV
only having to pull a cat out of the christmas tree 10 times or less,
getting along with my ex-husbands family who will surely be up to visit even if they pay no attention to their grandchild and only watch football the whole time they are here,
without hearing the "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth" song,
not having to explain how santa can be at all the malls at one time
If I am alive and still posting in January - I'll be happy

A trip back up to Dublin and a traditional Irish christmas dinner (ham, turkey, peas, potato, and lots of yummy sides) - and maybe for the crap commercialism brought from corporate world to end (screw you free marketees, subsidized Pine Trees and Choirs for all!).
