I find it funny when confronted with the rediculous arguments made by the likes of bateman and his ilk. There is always a way to go around reality in order to blame Jews for their troubles, always some new ways of delegitimizing. So at first it was Christ killers and heretics, then race, then not race again because in the different context (i.e. Palestine) that would give them more of claim to the land.

Never mind the fact Judaism means, quite literally, religion of the Jews. Religion of an ethnic group, a nation, a people. And its two-pronged. There are the elements that want to separate Jews from an ethnic identity because it would delegitimize historical claims on Middle Eastern land, and there are those trying too damn hard to be PC.

Never mind the fact there are plenty of genetic studies out there that show very low intermarriage rates (genetically), and show common descent of Jews from a relatively few Middle Eastern ancestral lines. Never mind the fact that genetically a Jew from Europe is most similar to other semitic groups, such as Lebanese Arabs, and not Europeans.

Nowadays, that doesn't support anyone's argument against Jews, so they ignore it.

Damned be the idiot who tells me that a Jew doesn't look different. I grew up around Slavs in the former USSR, and damn well developed a good Jew-dar, and I didn't look like the Russians around me. Damned as well be the idiot who calls me a Russian. I am no more ethnically Russian than the Afro-American is an Anglo-Saxon or the Algerian born in France is ethnically Frenchman.

If there were no such thing as a secular Jew, and a Jew outside of religion, there would be only a couple of thousand Jews in the world today.
