In both towers, a object weighing nearly 400 tons ripped through the structure at a speed of more than 490mph and causing massive fires - fueled by 10,000+ gallons of jet fuel, plus the incredibly combustible contents of your average office building - which raged from 60-90 minutes, weakening the framework to the point that it couldn't continue to bear the load of the floors above it, culminating in a "pancake" effect. Each successive floor slamming down on the one under it.

Officials finally reached the trove Tuesday after removing a 10-wheel truck and several cars that had been crushed by the debris. No bodies were recovered. More than 100 armed officers watched the workers. The contents of the vaults had to be removed because authorities need to demolish the building.

The twin towers were designed to withstand the impact of a fully loaded 707 which weighs 330,000lbs. Each tower was hit with a 767 weighing about 300,000lbs.

The design of the world trade center towers explicitly makes a pancake collapse not possible.

If it was a pancake collapse, then the building collapse could not have been at near free fall speed.

Your explanation like the 9/11 Commission report fails to address this contradiction.

Momentum does not work that way. The 6 tons hanging on each wing should have made an impact whether or not the wings snapped back.

So from your research it is easy to conclude that some not all of the gold was recovered. Some of it was loaded into a truck and no bodies were found. How did the persons stealing the gold know to get out of there before the Firefighters knew the buildings were coming down.

Curious thought: Firefighters that were in the towers report numerous explosions in the buildings before they collapsed like a planned demolition.

Explain to me how kerosene based jet fuel can burn hot enough to structurally weaken the Steel Structure.

In laboratory conditions it can reach temperatures of 2700 degrees however the plane impacts are not laboratory condidtions and the Steel used in the World Trade Center towers would not become structurally weak or melt at that before 3000 degrees. The only other combustible material in the buildings was office furniture and such which burns relatively cold compared to the melting point of steel. Realize most of the jet fuel is seen burning up outside of the Towers in dirty burn. That means it did not get as hot as laboratory conditions.

How do you explain the molten steel in the elevator shafts of the lower 6 floors of the WTC towers (basesment) AND why some of this molten steel was still measuring temperatures around 1000 degrees 5 weeks after 9/11.

It wasn't, that's why you see free falling debris below the level of structural failure at every given point in time.

Burn fuel in the open air and measure its temperature. Then burn the same fuel inside a kiln, i.e. insulate it. Read the temperature difference. Measure how long the heat takes to dissipate in the open air. Measure how long it takes to dissipate inside the kiln.
