ATO=a russian+chinese+indian NATO

would a Russian, Chinese and Indian organization equivalent of NATO worked?

asian treaty organisation +ATO
given the fact that we now know this will never occur purely due to the fact that indo-US relations have reached new heights and india doesn't see US as a threat anymore

Our biggest enemy is China.

Moreover chinas closest ally is pakistan.

Who do we have to fight by aligning with China? What is India's gain?

And say that war is successful and then China and Pak turn against India who do we align with now?

An enemy close by is more dangerous than an enemy far away.Oh hell cant help it if people want to live in fantasy land?

If this did happen it would mean india has been taken over by commies supported by spineless. Currently its spineless supported by commies...that is fine.

They can put together some real nice dog-&-pony shows but I sincerely doubt a Russian General would be commanding a Chinese group army anytime soon. And given the type of joint exercises done by the Indian and Chinese armies, I rather watch a Bruce Lee-Chuck Norris fight.

It does not matter what time, India and China are enemies and probaly always will be. India was nothing but a foil for the Soviets verses China the same way Pakistan is a foil for China vs India.

This would have to require something unimaginably stupid from an American administration which would at least have to involve alien space bats.

Of course, if said admin got into power (I am speaking hypothetically, I don't have any candidate or person in mind) a Moscow Beijing New Delhi axis would be the least of everyone's worries.

This is not workable. Irrespective of how hard India and China try to forget their differences, the differences would still be there.

You cant expect India to forget as to who gave Nuke's to Pakistan in the First place.

Again if we forget that who gave Nuke's to Pakistan, then first China has to Vacate Askai Chin, accept Sikkim and Arunanchal Pradesh to be an integral part of India, Give up Gwadar seaport that its developing in Pakistan, literally break KKH[Karakoram Highway], Free Tibet and accept that it gave Pakistan the Nukes and that it was a mistake, cutoff of military supplies to Pakistan, Accept that entire J&K is a part of India[even that which is under occupation of Pak].

Its Just not possible.I personally dont see it happening for next 100 years.

India+Russia+Taiwan[Lets say for the moment] is quite possible.

I disagree with both statements. Japan and US relationship proves the second wrong.
