Well, that means the US will fight.

Is it true that US SSNs are stationed in the Taiwan Straits to pick up parachuters from US aircraft after the J-8 incident?

not that IN is gonna fight USN, but there will be one more silent contender in IOR.

It is pretty much acknowledged gospel that the USN keeps at least one SSN in the vicinity of the strait at all times.
If i am not mistaken the USN also keeps one Aegis class warship in the immediate vicinity at all times as well to help protect ROC from a PRC ballistic missile attack.

Praxus, our SSBNs can hit any target in China from Hawaii, and some from the Pacific coast of CONUS, no need to put them anywhere near the fighting my friend.

Jay, the US isn't alone prowling below the seas of the Pacific with lethal SSNs. The Brits and French have damned good nuke boats too. The Russians don't spend much time at sea anymore, but they've got some good boats too.

Agreed. I think RN has 12 SSN's (Trafalgar and Swiftsure's). do they really deploy subs in the IOR regularly?? or they deploy them as a part of NATO patrol?

Once IN receives the Akulas-II's by far it would be the quietest and capable nuclear sub owned by an Asian country in the whole of Asia.
