As seen by the Northern Area poeple (the NLI recruiting areas)
Quote:
STORY OF KARGIL
The ISI and Pakistan army were very grieved due to non-participation of youths of Jammu, Ladakh, Kargil, Astor, Baltistan and Gilgit in the so-called freedom war and Jehad (crusade) on ISI's instigation. Because, ISI had worked hard in all cities and villages in this regard. In spite of heavy investment of dollars and propaganda regarding bearing the expenditures of family members after the death and infidel and Jehad propaganda, they had been successful in infiltrating except few wahabi youths in Afghanistan and Jammu & Kashmir. Some ignorant and innocent youths are being sent across the border by giving them weapons and explosives on the pretext of employment. In this regard, ISI relies more on Jamaat-e-Islami, tested in Afghanistan and entrusts it with the duty of buying youth through dollars, acquired from Saudi Arab and other Arab countries in the name of Jehad {(to kill evry one whether Muslim or Non - Muslim except Wahabi (the Sect of Saudia Arabia)}. For this purpose, ISI imparted training at District Mansehara, where they are instigated against non-muslims of Afghnistan, Kashmir, Chechenya, the U.S.A. and other countries and Tamil Tigers are also given training there. There is another training camp at Ghowadi Skardu, Darel, Yashote, Astore and Gilgit where the youth from Pakistan, Afghanistan and Kashmir are imparted terrorist training. Neither local people had any interest in this so-called Dollar-Earning Jehad nor Pakistan Government have faith on them. These were reasons for using Northern Light Infantry (NLI which is under control of occupier Pakistan Army) the local youth and soil of Baltistan and Astore for targetting Ladakh and Kargil Muslims as a revenge from both side of LoC.
The local nationalist parties had launched the process of apprising the people of Balawaristan about Pakistan's conspiracies and misguiding the innocent people, consolidating its (Pakistan army/ISI) position by making people fight with one another and leading them to the brink of destruction by plundering their resources, since the past several years. Besides this, BNF and its ally parties have started a struggle to get liberation from the illegal occupation by Pakistan. As a result, Pakistan was finding its dreams of usurping this region and making it a permanent slave, dashing to the ground. Because of this, ISI had planned to attack simultaneously from the border villages of Ishkomen Yasen and Gupis of district Ghazer via Badakhshtan after getting Afghanistan fully liberated by Taliban. Through its army and civil force, who are instigated to eleminate non-Muslims and non-wahabis, and trained for terrorism at religious, educational institutions and ISI camps throughout Pakistan to conquer Balawaristan first and then Indian occupied Jammu & Kashmir.
The terrorists are given temptation of dollars, booty and beautiful girls of the opponents. ISI has distributed arms in massive quantities among Pathan, non-locals and Wahibis in Ishkomen, Yasen, Gupis and Gilgit for suppressing the resistence, besides sending Pakistani and Afghan Taliban and ISI agents in the disguise of traders, like East India Company, to occupy Balawaristan for ever. They sell their goods in the carts and keep vigil on each village, lane and road. They sell tea and other things while remaining mobile. They do business of wasted goods (Kabad) by spreading themselves in all villages. They also work as barbers and Cobblers. Their arms and ammunition are lying with Pathan businessmen, present illegally in Gilgit Baltistan, ISI, F.C and Khyber Rifles camps besides Pathan market (apparently NLI market).
According to the programme, when Afghan and Pakistan Taliban will advance after conquering the above mentioned areas, Taliban present in Balawaristan (occupied GB) will take action from inside, to prevent further resistence of the local people.
If the resistence could not be stopped, Pakistan army will come into action to make the whole region as non-disputed, by conquering the whole region. After this it will conquer Jammu & Kashmir via Astore, Baltistan & Ladakh, Kargil, Gurez and Drass. In this action besides nationalists, non-wahabi soonies will also not be spared. If anyone from Ismailis, Shias or Soonis will announce to adopt Wahabi sect. he will be temporarily spared. But after congrutulating him, he will be pushed into Indian Kashmir in the form of an advance party. It will be his luck as to how long he remains alive there. This conspiracy of ISI was unearthed by one of those 32 youths from Yasen who had been sent to Afghanistan by ISI for assisting Taliban. Later, ISI compelled the last phase of its plan first that is to conquer Ladhak, Kargil and decided to complete the first phase i.e to attack Ishkomen, Gupis, Yasen later.
If the issue of involving only Northern Light Infantry (NLI) instead of Pakistani army is seen in this perspective, a few objectives of using Northern Light Infantry (NLI) are:
(1). To get eliminated those having the intense desire of freedom from Pakistan, by making them fight against the Indian Army, so that there remain no possibilities of resistance by the NLI during Taliban's attack on occupied Balawaristan in the near future. Though, Northern Light Infantry (NLI) personnel have nothing to do with the recent liberation activities in Balawaristan.
(2) To punish the people of Gilgit Baltistan and Ladakh, Kargil and Drass for not joining the terrorism in Jammu & Kashmir (because this is not a freedom movement but a conspiracy for earning dollars and making Jammu & Kashmir and occupied Gilgit Baltistan the slave of Pakistan (on ISI's instructions).
(3) To make the Shias of Kargil to fight against the Shias and Ismailis of Gilgit Baltistan and eliminate both of them.
(4) India had warned Pakistan to stop the genocide of the people of disputed Gilgit Baltistan during the 1988 genocide. Thus it was now aimed at ending the possibility of an Indian intervention in case of military action by the Taliban and Pakistan, against Balawaristan (occupied Gilgit Baltistan) in future, by involving NLI in fighting against the Indian army, so that hatred could be developed against India due to war with Northern Light Infantry (NLI), among the people of the disputed region and vice-versa.
(5) Northern Light Infantry (NLI) was also used, because, after a humiliating defeat in 1971, Pakistan army could not dare to face Indian Army practically, except for verbal threats. NLI's valour is unprecedented like Gilgit scouts and its ancestors.
(6) Pakistan had the fear of resentment of its masses (Punjabis, Pathans) in the case of getting Pakistan army killed by the Indian forces, while in case of loss to NLI, Pakistani government and people were not concerned. That is why neither Pakistani Government, army, ISI nor people and media paid any attention to the martyrdom of Nine hundred (900), approxi. One thousand (1000) became disable and injured while forty
(40) of NLI troops are missing. Pakistan government and army did not show least shame while pushing NLI troops into the Kargil war as mercenaries. So called Kashmir Mujahideen could have not dared to fight valiantly at the heights of Kargil and Drass because ISI had imparted training of carrying out sabotage in a clandestine manner.
ISI staged the force of addresses and messages from Kargil by making video films of its so-called Mujahideen in the air conditioned rooms of Muzaffrabad and Islamabad. Irony is that occupied Balawaristan has got no media of its own Gilgit and Skardu based Pakistani Radio Station, go so advance in telling lies, that even the lies and deceits of their Pakistani makers are left behind. This region has got only one weekly i.e. K2 It's Chief Editor and owner is being torutured mentally, physically and financial by ISI and Pakistan government by involving him in a dozen of false cases and summoning him to Gilgit from Islamabad after every 5 or 7 days.
The contractor of the illegal and unconstitutional judiciary of occupied Gilgit Baltistan (Chairman Chief Court) had sent him to jail after issuing orders of seizure of his hold property, over his article during the Kargil incident, due to which the use of NLI and its great performance in the Kargil was as well as the conspiracy of Pakistan's printing and electronic media which is fully controlled by the ISI, keeping the world in dark could not be unearthed. When the war with Indian army began early May 1999 after NLI crossed LoC and entered 10-15 KMs deep inside Indian Kashmir, Pakistan Army Gen. Pervez Mushrraf in the begining attributed it as Pakistan Army's great performance, proudly, instead of NLI, but later on the advice of ISI he backlashed the propaganda of attributing this performance to so-called Mujahideen (who are the labourers of ISI) who had nothing to do with the Kargil war.
The most regretting thing is that the world famous broadcasting agency BBC, VOA, VOG and Radio Tehran etc. instead of unveiling the reality of this war and Pakistan's lie, played a role like that of the Pakistani media. It, by using the dubious words like "alleged or as they said" did not try to challenge Pakistan's hypocratic role during the whole war. The reason may be that Pakistan's national reporters dominate BBC and other broadcasting agencies who do not want their interests in Pakistan to be damaged through ISI. I, however, firmly believe that Gilgit based BBC representative Saadat Ali Mujahid will have not turned a blank-eye to the incidents of arrival of dead bodies of NLI troops in the region, from the Kargil battle, in a large number, like Pakistani journalists. He might have informed Islamabad and London. Even then BBC's role like Pakistani media is regrettable and amounts to making suspicious the neutral role on this independent broadcasting agency.
Let us move ahead and see that Pakistan army ordered to leave the dead bodies of NLI solidiers who fought valiantly with Indian army and embraced martyrdom, in the battle field for becoming the food of beasts, because NLI troops are local, while officers are either Pathans or Punjabi. Contrary to Indian army, these Pakistan officers issue orders through telephone or wireless while remaining hidden miles behind the war. Indian army burried the dead bodies of NLI troops scattered unattended, with honour and with the Islamic traditons. I must pay tribute to Indian army in this regard. I don't care about ISI and Pakistani brokers(Dalal), though they are our enemies yet we should be thankful to the Indian army by burying the dead bodies of our brothers with honour instead of desecration like the Pakistani army.
Pakistanis are not happy with this, as they wanted that wild animals and jackals should eat the dead bodies of NLI soldiers, so that they could continuously deny their martyrdom and valour. Pakistan government and army accepted the dead bodies of Punjabi and Pathan officers, killed at the Kargil front by mistake and sent them to their heirs. Before receiving their dead bodies, Musharraf openly admitted that his army has been indulged in aggressive patrolling in the Indian territory. After receiving these two dead bodies, Pakistan again resorted to it's false propaganda and refused to accept the dead bodies of NLI troops. While India had offered it's help for identifying and receiving these dead bodies, though Pakistani officers had mutilated the body parts of 6 Indian troops, alive after taking them into custody and returned their dead bodies. It was a non-Islamic and inhuman act.
It was against the behaviour of prophet Mohammad (PBUH) with opponents and prisoners after the victory of Makkah. Inspite of this Indian army respected PoW of NLI and gave medical treatment to our brothers, after arresting them and offered their release on 14th August, but Pakistan remained silent for long because they were not it's nationals and it did not want to expose it's lie by accepting them. It may be recalled that statements, by the so-called Mujahideen (terrorists) religious parties as well as their interviews, processions and rallies, all were taking place at the instigation and expenditures of ISI during the Kargil war. In fact NLI came into existence after disbanding Gilgit Scouts(GS), Northern Scouts (NS) and Karakoram Scouts (KS). Local youths, with higher capabilities were recruited in it, while cowardly Punjabis and Pathans, issuing orders while remaining hidden behind the war zone, were always made it's officers.
Special instructions are given to these punjabi and pathan officers from GHQ Rawalpindi, that they should never adopt a soft approach towards local troops during their duties in NLI. They must be kept suppressed like animals. Neither their work should be appreciated nor should they be encouraged. Although the U.N. while recognising the valour and bravery of the people of this region (Balawaristan), had described it as the best fighting nation of the world, who are capable to prevent any external aggression. Had it been the Pakistan army of Punjabis and Pathans, instead of NLI, it would have rapidly returned to Punjab and NWFP and Indian army would have reached Islamabad within a week. But NLI saved the honour (Nose) of Pakistan. Now it is also the duty of Pakistan army, that it should recruit the brave youths, offering supreme sacrifices, not only as soldiers but as officers too. So that the reputation of Pakistan army officers is increased due to (Balawar) officers fighting on the front like the Indian army instead of issuing orders while remaining hidden behind, like Punjabis.
I appreciate the courage of a Pakistani journal "Monthly Herald" Dawn group of News paper which revealed and confirmed 500 graveyards of NLI soldiers who were killed in Kargil war in may 1999 after one year. While 300 were reportedly buried by Indian Army at Kargil heights are un-accounted. Some repors claim more than 1000 NLI soldiers were killed by Indian Army while another claims about 3000.The most barbaric role of both Pakistan and Indian Army was that, Indian Army caught dozen of NLI soldiers at different places of Kargil in 1999 war and asked, if Pakistan Army accepts NLI soldiers, they will be treated prisoners of war per Geneva convention. But Indian Army shot them on the spot when Pakistan Army denied accepting them. On other hand the then Prime Minister of Pakistan Mr. Nawaz Sharif has also confessed the Kargil misadventure by accusing Pakistan Army. We therefore appeal the UN and UNSC to bring the Kargil culprits to justice by declaring General Musharraf, General Mohammad Aziz (planner), General Zia - ud - Din the then ISI Chief and Rafiq Tarar president of Pakistan as war criminals by summoning Ex P.M. Nawaz Sharif and NLI kins for testimony.

Actually, even though you are a civilian it does not hurt to give them a little respect, which they thoroughly deserve. We had anohter Pakistani Officer in the board, and most of the Indians here treated him with the same respect that we give for Ray or Lemon or OoE or Snipe or bluesman etc etc. No one is forcing you to give them respect, it sud occur to you, if not then forget it.
|
I'd give people respect on how they behave infront of me. Not from heresay or preconceived notions on how it should be. When I says he's just another dude, can't just another dude, gain my respect? Of course he can. But you're asking me to respect him because of some title thats given to him.
I'm a strong preacher of equality. In my life, I've never bullied anyone weaker than me, and have not been bullied by any either. Do not ask me to go against a very strongly and closely held principle. I'll talk as equals, no less... no more.

Believe me, you would know it if he did.

And I personally feel that he does.
Coming back, my request has got nothing to do with Ray, or the military or anything else. If you really want to change me, we can do that over IM, this is not about me, its about the forum as a whole. It's very different. Stick to the topic. Just stick to a topic. Or at least around that general area of discussion. As a general principle how many of you are okay with thread crapping?

Yeah , thats right.
Hawk_Eye was him
Not one disrespecting word was spoken against or at him.He respected us Indians and our opinions , as much as, perhaps even more ,then we respected him and his.
He was a serving Officer , mind you and if his posts were any indication he is quite far from being retired. So there is no telling what he would be one day.
I think the problem with you is that you think you are very important person on board here , and you think your ideas are the only correct ones here.An attitude problem , i must say.
Besides treating this forum like it were a playground , lobbying to get members banned and trying to look smart with a declaration that you have managed not to get banned - like the self-proclaimed citizens of Kashmir , which exists but in your dreams, are things you have to quit.
This is forum , not a place of debate where you are going to be given a chocolate and a shield for having won your debate.

If you can't help not get provoked by the most outrageously normal conversation, then thats a reflection upon you not me. You should have the ability to withstand the other side of the story or at least the other point of view.

I hate censorship, and in one of the early posts here I said, it'd be a shame to see anyone banned. But its a general disciplinary method and its accepted across the internet that you do not sway from the topics. It's understandable about the 3-4 page, not the 3-4th post.
I seem to be complaining about ONE thing, you seem to be TELLING me that I am complaining about another. Who do you think, thinks big of himself here?

And who doth not have the ability to withstand the other side of the story ?
Since thou had initiated a thread to complain , it was thought better to inform the initiator - in all earnest - that there actually exists a problem with him too.
It is upto the originator of the thread to either consider my words or to continue complaining , as it is in the quote quoted.

I do not TELL you anything.
I have no buisness to.
I only point out , and that too not in the context of this thread although you could say it is related to the topic at hand.
