The various icons before the subject?

Hi
I've been reluctant to ask this type of newbie-question but I couldnt the info in the FAQ or I'm blind (probably blind). Is this a glossery for those icons? I'm referring to the icons that appear before the Subject of a thread. Some of them are explained already, such as More than 15 replies or 150 views etc, but some are not explained. Any ideas on where to look for the other icons?

: means you've posted on the thread

: means you've posted on it and there's a new reply since you last viewed it

: means there's been a new reply since you last viewed the thread, and you haven't posted on the thread

Great! I saw those and kinda doped them out as I went along, but the other ones that can be selected at the top of the screen, such as the hands shaking, the ! and ? and the usual similys. Are those only to be selected by the thread starter?
