What is being a Senior Member based on?

Post count or join date? I should be WAB's least legit senior member if its by join date

It's both post count and join date, 90 days and 750 posts to be precise.

If by some happenstance somebody has both qualifications but the system hasn't automatically given them Senior Member status, we can make the change manually.

K well I've been on the board for two years and I have 1000 posts, and as far as I know I'm not a senior member. This doesn't really bother me I suspect no one would take me any more seriously than they do now, I mainly use this forum to learn rather than to teach anyway.

Everybody who has over 750 posts and has been registered for over 90 days has been promoted to senior member.

I should also note that being promoted to senior member is a way to give recognition to members for continued participation on the forum. Privileges of being a senior member include increased private message storage (up to 500), the ability to set a custom user title, and having a bold username.

It should be by join date The only reason I dont have 32534613463146136 posts is because I am not intrested/knowledgable about alot of sections like for instance South Asian Politics... I wanna be a senior member, I've been here since I was 12

LOL.... how did you get around the COPPA system?

Anyhow, such a system will stay in place pretty much unaltered as it is a recognition of the contributions members have made to the community, and have been around long enough and interacted with members enough to warrant such a distinction.

Senior moment?

Senior Member? I can't even get a "future senior discount" or my SADF discount at the movies (I ask). I must say it would be pretty convenient to not have to empty my PM all the time.

Compliment taken. By all means, send your boss this way, and we'll "work him over."

But hey, before you do that, you may want to edit your above post.
