      The Viraat it needed. Its not just needed for combat in case of a war. You require it for keeping abreast with your carrier operating experience, which no one else in S/SE Asia has.

        OK sir but what further fixed wing operational experience will be gained now that its Harrier fleet is down?

        Sir, my point wasn't that the Virat is redundant now, it was that due to the mess defence procuremen is in, it is forced to fill a role which should have been occupied by other Carriers as per what was earlier projected.
