Internal Fire Extinguishing & Explosion Suppression.
Thermal smoke screen plus four smoke grenade dischargers on the side of the turret.
Doesn't the turret and the gun look too big for the tank? 40 Ton tank with a 125 mm gun?
Everyone has opinions, only some count.

The Slovenian upgrade uses a 120 mm gun, not much difference i suppose.

Is there any info floating around out there on the Russian Black Eagle? .....or is their mainstay still going to be 80's and 90's?

The T-80UM2 aka the Black Eagle was canceled. The T-95 is apparently still floating around but nothing has been said about it in over a year.

The T-92 (Object 775), is still underdevelopment, it is said to be entering service around 2025. There are discussions that it has a 135mm gun or a 155mm Gun, also a crew of two, to weigh approximately 55 Tonnes', with 'Ceramic and Fibre Armour'. They are already saying that it will be better than M1A2!!!!!!!

I've never heard of the Russians deploying a 135mm caliber weapon before.

I don't know what sources you have, but never bother to trust them again. Object 775 was an experimental missile tank on T-64 base. Never been seen since 60's.

Can't help thinking that the real main armament will be the "Vaporware cannon".

As for the scenario, it depends on who has the better infantry support, air support, artillery support, logistics, training, command and control, intelligence, leadership, and morale.

In short: I don't think the scenario is all that useful in terms of trying to work out how an armoured battle will turn out.

By then the M1A4 or the M2 will be in production.
