As I knew the 114mm mantlet which covered nearly the whole turret front is the only frontal weak point of a pershing. But someone told me that the mantlet, at least most part of it was supported by the 100mm era turret frontal armor, which is to say, that pershing actually had 114+100mm turret armor. This saying makes sense to me because with this kind of armor scheme, pershing may get barely equal protection in its glacis and turret front.
