Why not? Or this uniforms enchanted by special defensive spells (Spell Book level 7, AD&D setting) and empower it’s wearer with great dignity and holiness? Barter system works well – Jack will give Ivan his boots, Ivan will give Jack his coat.
    Or something like that.

Well, let me think. There are plenty of such spots. Not too long time ago militia closed down trade-spot near Byelorussian Vokzal – some USSR uniforms, some modern Russian uniforms for sale. Not too expensive. About a month ago i visited ВДНХ and seen similar small shop. Unfortunately, they do not have websites.

Good healthy trade – what can be better for relationship improvement?
    One disadvantage - morning hangover.

Anyone who's spent any amount of time analyzing naval power indepth(as i did when writing the v16.8 upgrade to Janes Fleet Command) would almost certainly come to the same conclusion.

US naval dominance is simply overwhelming.

Difference between Russian Army and American Army. We are well supplied, the Russian Army is not. We do not need to sell our equipment for basic supplies, the Russian Army does on occasion (in Chechnya that was a big problem). Illustration, our army has never had to take active divisions to help bring in the harvest in order to feed ourselves.

Agreed. With the number of carriers we possess, and the battlegroups surrounding them, there simply isn't a match. Our naval dominance is far greater than what the British possessed during the Victorian or Napoleonic eras, even factoring air powers' sea denial ability into the equation.

The budget for the US military last year including Iraq and Afghanistan was 500 billion dollars. That is the size of half of Russias entire GDP.
another mistake, it amounted to $400 billion approx. and even $500 billion is not half the Russian economy, the Russian economy is worth some $450+ billion

WTF? It turns out that one of the tourists had tossed a pack of cigarettes to one of the soldiers, and they damn near killed each other over a pack of cigarettes. You can count all the tanks, planes, and ships that you want, but when you put a conscript army up against a professional army, you're putting someone whose heart isn't into it, up against someone who knows exactly why he's there.

    Don
that doesn't mean anything, they could have been joking around, a person is not born with courage, he is taught courage, you heard that quote before? have you also noticed that when someone forces you to do something, rather than when they give you a choice, when they give you a choice, you tend to become lazy and don't really do it at your finest capabilities, while if you're forced to do it, you feel the pressure to do your best, as long as you're not pressured to do it quickly

"Difference between Russian Army and American Army. We are well supplied, the Russian Army is not."

another misconception, Russia has enough money to support a force of 500,000 professional soldiers, currently, they have approx. 1 million soldiers, so they're just short by about a half, not that badly supplied

is this just the army, like ground forces, or the entire military, either way, America would defeat Russia, Period.(well, that is for now)
