But you have to give it to the Indian commies for being such an organized force. BTW I have always been puzzled about whether the Commies have any influence on the Naxalites.....

India has all kinds of artillery of different calibres, weights, and ranges. To minimize complexity of supply nations like the USA and Russia primarily support two kinds of gun artillery on the battlefield. India supplies all the guns of USA and Russia. Chinese are looking for better equipment, simplier supplying of it's armed forces. They thinking about increasing the Navy as well. In my opinion I think China would win. I think China is more industrialized than India. With the modernizing of the military, China will be better in logistics.

That's true Bhim T6 hasn't entered service. But again as I said the task is taken care of with some workarounds. Bofors isn't mentioned true again. I've already maintained that rest are classified...though Bofors is well known and have served well in the past...specially during Kargil wars.

T6 is one of the most powerful gun in the world. I would like to know how it has fared in IA, if those details are not classified. Bhim being a DRDO product, wonder how it has gone down with IA.

It is a big irony that companies which supplies the best equipment to Indian Forces like Bofors,AMR,T6,HDW Subs did it paying bribes to the babus & ministers!

Really?Thats great.T6 is a real good gun.And IA really needs some self propelled artillery.

By work around do you mean some Indian co is manufacturing Denel guns under tech transfer and an Indian name?

BTW..apart from that I think that other old SPA types have been retired already?

All that I can tell you is that at the Unit level there's a grapevine wherein the guys talk of the concept of "Jugar Technology". Jokes apart...you are correct that certain SPAs though they exist on paper have been phased out or atleast are not into active service.
