Here might be an interesting one.... What US warship class had a preliminary design scheme that, if built, would have ended up resembling the HMS Rodney?

Maybe your question (and mine) should have been put in the Naval Quiz thread. That seems to be running a little dry lately.

But it is an interesting question and I think it was supposed to be some sort of protected cruiser.

Maybe I should post it there too. I'll narrow the field down to BB. I know of no cruisers that would have ended up like that.

G3 Class (Cherry Tree Class: so named as it was cut down by Washington)

What was the name of Sacagawea's husband?

I know this is far too simple, I just want to keep this thread going. It prompts various "emotions" in me such as "Now that's educational", "Who cares?", "Now THAT's funny", "What the heck is he talking about?", "That answer was right on the tip of my tongue", "With that info and two dollars I can buy a beer at the VFW hall" and finally "AHA! One I can finally answer without Google."

Sacagawea and another Shoshone girl were eventually sold to a French Canadian trapper, Toussaint Charbonneau. He had been living with the Mandans for some time and married both of the girls in 1804

Correct , the chair they shot him in ( he could not stand ) is still in the tower , the room is now a library for old films ?
