Right on. To think that all of the off-road races to La Paz were actually not in a State of Mexico until 1974 was rather surprising to me.

Your question.

After demanding Syria from the Ottoman Empire, for assisting against the Greek War of Independence.....

This war, against the Ottoman Empire, was won by the son of an Albanian, who had previously conquered Egypt, when it revolted against the Ottoman Empire.

Who was this Albanian and name the war he started.

Are you pointing towards the invasion of Syria[First Turk-Egyptian War]or the confrontation with the Ottoman Caliph[Battle of Nazeb]?

Pyrrhus after beating the Romans at Asculum

Casualties were horrendous on both sides.

This led to the phrase a Pyrric victory, one where the winner loses almost as much as the winner.

There was another Jackson who fought for the Confederacy in Virginia during the American Civil War.

What was his real name, what was he more commonly known as and why?
