There must be some natural law that says "Given a large enough sample, you're bound to have a few idiots."
And in ANY organization with high standards and high expectations, failures such as these are all the more glaring and as such become newsworthy. Urination and SS runes.
When the urination thing broke, my wife (also a veteran) and I both said - "Piss on them if you want, but record a video of it? What were you thinking?"

I think Omon may have served in the Soviet Army. Omon, correct me, please, if wrong.

+ The Swastika is a common ornament here. You can regularly find them from medieval era onwards while the oldest one is a rock painting (sunwheel) that is millenias old. Our national romanticism found it from the Karelian and North Eastern folk art earlier than the Nazis did find their "Aryan symbol", and our state and army used them before the Germans. Just across the street from where I live there is a school building that has ornamental swastikas.. you can find them from our public buildings, paintings, folk art and so forth. Swastika was used by our AF prior to Nazis and during the Winter War people donated golden wedding rings to the state in order to support the war efforts, they got an iron ring back and those who got the air defence ring got swastika with wings. Thatīs what I wear.

As I said in my previous post, the percentage of exposed idiots who served at USMC looks very low since everything they do wrong goes public. Worldwide.
Name me an organization with lower % of dumbs.
Would love to see some stats about policemen, firemen, doctors, lawyers (ok that's unfair)... basically professions that can make huge impact in people's lives.

At least USMC are honest. These were dumb.
Those that fit in dumbs with guns are sent to very remote and volatile regions, as you can see.
Luckily those we got here on WAB are the smart ones ;)

Smart Marines? I've heard of such things, but never seen them. I thought they were just like the Yeti or Nessie

I foresee your other knee will hurt you soon.

My right knee also always hurts, but it's not quite as fucked up yet as the left, which is proper fucked

Being dumb and politically incorrect a-hole does not exclude ability to be a great killing machine.
