As you found out, no his pension cannot be stripped. But he can be sued.

Would it be safe then to expect a wrongful death suit from the victims families?

The problem is that Williams ain't stupid. He may already have directed his pension towards his wife and family instead of to himself.

I heard it on the local news that they are going to invoke a special clause in Canadian laws which will forbid parole, even after he serves his full term in jail?

Most likely he will spend the rest of his life in jail?

Is there such a cause or does that not even make sense?

Not sure of Canadian laws wrt to such matters....

He will serve 25 years minimum, meaning he will die in prison.

I hope he serves his time in the general population.

He is going to live out the rest of his life in solitary confinement, with only an hour of physical activity a day. As for his pension, the government is pushing a new law to restrict CPP for criminals, how hard would it be to slip all pensions into that bill?? Or at least give the pension to his wife, everyone seems to forget that she is also a victim in all of this. Can you just imagine what that poor woman has been through!

It is hard to fathom how she must feel, it must be terrible

He tried and failed to off himself back in April.

Wasn't sure if it was a serious attempt.

Using a cardboard toilet roll stuffed with more foil and cardboard, Williams stuffed it down his throat in an apparent bid to suffocate himself, sources said.
