Thread: The Crazy/Stupid things young Soldiers and Marines do!!!!

I have the honor to work with young Marines and Soldiers all over the US and overseas and there really never is a dull moment. Some of the things they do are beyond belief when told to those who havent served or worked closely with them!!!! Today was a particualarly spectacular day here at Ft Bragg with 10th Marines.

First thing this morning one kid decided to fill the generator running the TOC with DEXRON III Transmission fluid. His logic being because it was red he thought it was "Agricultural Diesel". Needless to say the Generator Mech was less than impressed.

Later in the day during some down time between FIremissions 3 young canoneers went back into teh treeline and sparked up some of that "Synthetic Weed" crap that has become a bit of a craze recently. I think its called 'Spice" and is really some sort of incense but apparently it gets you high when smoked but wont show on a p!ss test. Well what these guys forgot is that its an INCENSE. It really smells quite strong and strange, someone is going to notice and come asking questions. The First Sergeant LOST HIS MIND!!!!!

Im sure the rest of you guys out there can share some similarly off the wall stories.
