    A Treasure Trove

    https://www.benning.army.mil/monogra...20L.%20CPT.pdf

As part of being a student officer at the US Army Infantry Officer Advanced Course at FT Benning you had to write a staff study or write an historical mopnograph/battle analysis.

A lot of these are now available on line at https://www.benning.army.mil/monographs/

And the one above? Yes, its THAT Colin Powell.

Has anybody had the Idea to write up the fact that the Battle of the buldge might have been a set up to get the German Army to commit to a offensive like they did during at the end of the First World War and in the long run shorten the war??
