    Try to remember one simple point:
    The world ain't really that violent compared to the way it was 10 years ago, or 20 years ago, or 30 years ago, everyone just likes to think they live in a particularly difficult or dangerous period of time because it makes them feel better in a convoluted sort of way.
    Personally, I'd take things the way they are over the way things in the 70s were any day, and I'm not just talking about the fashion, terrifying as it was.

    searched for a different map, http://www.healthmap.org/swineflu

    http://www.cdc.gov/flu/weekly/intsurv.htm

    still cant find it... its somewhere in cdc very cool map that was.
