Point made.

Let it also not be forgotten that the vetoed resolution (S/5033) was sponsored by the US.

The resolution called for a cease-fire, withdrawal of Indian forces, and the resumption of negotiations.

Let it also not be forgotten, in December 1971 the USSR exercised its veto right thrice on behalf of India. The US off course supported the resolutions.

If that veto had not been exercised, we would have likely not had a Bangladesh today.

WAB, for whatever reason, decided to give me this corner. Basically, I'm the dictator here.

This being said. Andy, Major Shek when he 1st came here had a detailed write up about STRYKERs vs HUMVEEs. This would give a detailed idea for the Phase I 15ABC insert and Phase II Motor Rifle Bde action

Thanks for the link, every interested indeed. I need to read it again tomrrow in detail

However, there are some major difference.

1. PLAAF's don't airdrop HUMVEE, they drop buggies. The new ZLC2000 does not seem to have the same protection as a Stryker.

2. Stryker bgd has the benift of superior C4I and all sorts of firesupport, they can call in flyboys for firesupport. However, can 15 ABC inside of a ZLC2000 call for fire support from WS-2 rocket battary? I don't think so. PLA 15 abc would have to face much better eq, trainined and better armored Opforce then Iraqis.

3. 15 ABC boys better pray to Chairman mao their ojective is not fortify.

So you are in China right now? What kind of job you have? I am in law school. Computer engineering wasn't for me so I decided to pursue a different venue, ie, law school. Nearly gave Colonel a heart attack when I told him.

It does. But it doesnt make it a huge public mess and follow through on its threats, which are mostly used as negotiating points.

Speaking of which, that Field Marshal's uniform is on backorder. I'm still trying to expedite it though.
