Make a note that Turkey, has already making use of this right to the Black Sea and Eastern Med.

And why do you continuously threaten us Infringe and violate the territorial air space of Greece, using your Fighters the time we are promoting your European destination and prospective?

Your unacceptable military junta as it practicing policy blackmails a neighbor Country, disputing always the current status quo a practice that have started since 1974.

The Blackmail as practice is the basic ingredient of your foreign policy always was.

The Blackmail and the exportation of the intension, is a fine resort to you when you are facing big internal problems with Kurds Communists Islamists and Kemalists.

This behavior doesn't fit to a country who wants to be called western, European, or Civilized.
    Dear antiochos

Here are some of the answers you have been searching for :

    12 miles dispute :

Greece claims the right to extend its territorial waters to 12 miles base on the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea. Accordingly, Greece claims the Aegean Sea as open waters, and argues that it has a right to incresae its territorial waters to 12 miles.

Turkey on the other hand, rests its arguments on the same Covnention. Accordingly,12 miles is the maximum limit that can be applied as territorial waters, and this does not have to be applied to every specific case. Moreover, the conventions article 300 makes it explicit that the Convention is to applied in good faith, with refrain from abuse. Turkey stresses the fact that Greece's proposed expansion in the Aegean alters the balance in Greece's favor with disregard to apply the Convention in good will. Accordingly Greece is abusing the Convention and should not be allowed to expand its territorial waters beyond the current 6 miles. Turkey has declared a Casus Belli, in case Greece extends its territorial waters to 12 miles with disregard to Internation Law and Turkey's objections.

    Aegean Air Space Dispute :

National Air Space boundaries have been defined in the Chicago Convention at a maximum level that can not surpass territorial waters. However, in 1931, Greece has announced that it will regard its National Air Space as 10 miles for security and policing duties. On the same date, Turkey has released a declaration that this violates International Law, and that this would not be recognized.

Turkey recognises Greek Airpace as 6 miles -same as territorial waters- and considers the remaining 4 miles as International Airspace. Greece claims that Turkey is violating this airspace which it considers national airspace. However, in international charts, and NATO documents, Greek airspace is recognized as 6 miles.

Turkey is not governed by a military junta. You will remember that Turkey has held free elections uninterruptedly since 1983. Greece was also ruled by a military junta between 1967-1974. Perhaps you choose to omit this fact. You also choose to omit that the Enosis movement in Cyprus was actively supported by this junta, which led to the current status on the island. Thus, it seems Greece and Turkey share a common history where military has actively participated in politics.

I have objected several times to Turkish Military's interventions in politics. However, it is unfair, and biased to call the current Turkish political establishment as a military junta.

Guys is it possible to minimize the anti-Turkish and anti-Greek rhetoric? No one needs to call each other "Bastards", "morons" etc We are all civilised individuals, i'm sure you can all correspond in a more appropriate tone.

...and to my fellow Turkish friends...as the grand children of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk...We seek to attain peace not a state of war. Hence, lets leave the past to the past and not insult the Greek nation or its respective citizens. Although, I know that they are the ones doing the majority of the insulting, we should still not loose our calm and continue to give them our hand in peace. They will eventually get the point that we are no threat to them, if they are no threat to us.
