i dont see China along side with Russia anymore, they want to be an independent player arent they?

I dont understand the point you're trying to make. I never claimed that Azeris were Persian neither did i deny that Azerbaijan Republic has close ties to Turkey. All i said was that Azerbaijan Republic is tied to Iran through Shi'a Islam, and secondly through links with Iranian Azeris - which it is. Azerbaijan Republic's historical and religious ties to Iran are undeniable.

As for you other comment, maybe in Azerbaijan Republic the people are no so religious, but what you do expect when that country had been under Communist rule for decades? Iranian Azeris on the other hand are often deeply religious and more loyal to Shi'a Islam than Persians are. Perhaps you are unaware, but many prominent figures in the Islamic Republic are Azeris. The best example being Supreme leader Ayatollah Khamenei who is from Tabriz.

    1980s ,

i think turki_de want to show that theres a lots of people in Turkey and in all over the Turkic world who believe(including me) that being that much religious is one of the main reasons of being passed by other nations and also who believe that theres lots of misguidance about the Islamisation of Turkic peoples.

people like this relies ethnic ties much more than religious ties.

before you start to contradict me i want to state that i am not seeing the religion(as long as it stay personal) is the cause, but people is...

but i am agree with you that this is not a good point worth to insist that much.

this is not a religious topic so lets not get off-topic.

    absolutely sir

as you can see from my early posts, i dont believe any ideologies or religions when things come to international politics and strategy.

i just wanted to show the current situtation from my point of wiew in which i can also state that Azeris are not that friendly for exemple in the PKK terrorism issue.
