Answering questions with more questions, interesting indeed, but not food for thought.

If you don't wanna back up what you said, then I guess that's just my qualm with you, because most people try to not do that.

The Russian Navy is still a threat, but only to those unlucky enough to be Russian sailors.-highsea

Did the USSR, have sufficient amount of power projection?
Amphibious capability and supply chain for a long distance battle.
They didnt have enough aircraft carrier's to give sufficient air-cover to their marine corps, or am i wrong.

Against most opponents we would've been fine. It's not like say Saddams Iraq would've been a match, or even back then Iran.

Yes, but how would you give aircover for them,
the USN, Marine aircore gives cover to thier ground troops. Yak-38 is hardly the F-14.

Well late 80's, we had 4 Kiev class carriers. They each carried 12 forgers, and around 20 helis. Also had the Admiral Kuznetsov, one and only, with 12 Su-33 and 5 Su-25K. Add to that a notable force of aircraft from the mainland USSR itself, probably refueling in mid-air en-route a few times, and we have a notable air force to cover our advance.
