Al Qaeda plans US drive-bys

I think drive bys would be the most expensive form of attack getting the least payback for AQ - drive by shootings are not new, they are't going to rack up a three thousand people death toll with them, and they would be suicide missions. This would mean less shock value for, probably, more people than 9/11.

I don't hold too much store in any stories about planned attacks that aren't attached to actual prosecution or people being captured / killed attempting them. There is a lot of propaganda flying around at the moment.

Why don't we just nuke these Fuckers, it's going to happen anyways. They are gonna set off a nuke of release some poision that will kill hundereds of thousands of people and then we are just gonna go nuts.

I can't see nukes being used against terrorists, except perhaps uster bombs against underground hideouts in Afghanistan

Ah, collective punishment. You wish to join North Korea, Stalin era Russia, Nazi Germany etc. Only obviously on a more instant and devastating scale.

Its a tactic that does work and has some precedence.

I would prefer to do the same thing with conventional incendiaries and heavy bombers myself.

Using nukes will harm the planet, i only wish to eradicate the enemy.

If thats what it takes for me and my posterity to be safe then I have no problems with it, the above solution (bombing every major Muslim city) would have been my response following the 9/11 attacks if I were president.

We need to fight to the point where the enemy is willing to unconditionaly surrendur or at least surrendur with very favorable conditions for the United States. Otherwise what is the point in the fighting?

The Nazi's never had a 4 engine bomber, there is no way they could deliver the ammount of destructive power we did during the 2nd WW.
