How is this any different from glamorous Bollywood dances. Hell some of those bollywood dances are downright illegal in many Western nations.

And this is from a state which had bar dancers till last year and one of the biggest meat markets. I guess everyone is trying to be a Shiv Sainik or some thing.

I'm wondering whats up with the moral police in Chennai and Bangalore, havent heard a word from them yet.

I am sometimes amazed at the sheer stupidity of some Indians and hypocrisy.

What about Rakhi Sawant, Ashwariya Rai in Dhoom 2 or any of the stupid "Item" numbers?

It is time that politicians wake up and act as human and not as some displaced part of heaven!!

It just angers me a great deal when a verminious creature like a politician who has no honour and wouldnt know morality if it bit him on his behind dares to lecture the country on it.

I actually agree with the politicians on this one. There's no need to degrade the game of cricket by pulling such stunts-Cricket is supposed to be a gentleman's game, and cheerleaders make a mockery out of that. Besides, nowadays copying American culture has become fashionable in India-there's nothing wrong with adopting the best bits of foreign cultures, but this is certainly not one of them. There are obscenity laws in every country, and there's no reason why Indian laws in this regard should not be applied.

Hold it people. "India" did not warn the cheerleaders. Some idiots in Mumbai (and also Kolkatta I hear) did; and as far as I know, it only applies to the Mumbai team; no other!
