I watched 'truncated torch relay' on TV. Looked like TV viewers were the only ones whe were watching it! They avoided all routes where people were waiting! At this rate it is better to drop rest of the relay and confine it to China, it's becoming a farce!

It's just the fun time for kids.

Next sunday, troops will march to Parliament hill, Ottawa, Canada. It will be the first time Chinese flags taking over Canada's capital.

For nothing, it's not a protest.

Read this article, very funny:
Torch leaves San Francisco after surprise route designed to thwart protesters

Earlier, pro-Tibetan protesters in the area complained that they had been pepper sprayed, although they didn't know who did it. San Francisco resident Matt Winger, 22, flushed his red eyes with water and said, "It stings like hell."

Kids really had some fun there. And the comments go up to >1600, it touches American's nerve.

Agree, no undemocratic country, no country occupying another country, and no country that has poor human right records should be given the Olympics.

Oops, I forgot about IRAQ! At least we are democratic, and if we ignore possible torture of terrorist detainees, you can make an argument for Chicago.

Do you consider Tibet, part of China?

Do you realize that many in the world, view China as the occupying force in Tibet? China was not invited, did not give them a choice, just invaded them. I would not be complaining to much about their behavior right now. For the most part it is quite peaceful, especially compared at other methods used around the world through out history by nations trying to gain independence.
