11 survive 3 months in the Wilderness of the Russian far east
11 rescued 3 months after Russian shipwreck
What a cool story, now these are true survivors. Not the fake survivors on the TV show. |

That is quite an amazing story. Now, were this a movie, the base would have been the site of secret and unnatural experiments, and the fishermen would have fallen victim to a biological/supernatural horror, a few escaping only to spread it to the outside world.

And here I thought that I was the only one thinking along those lines...I'd forgotten the zombie-preparedness sessions that we had with dalem. |

Wow, and I thought I was the only one to think "zombie" when I read "abandoned military base" and "shipwreck survivers."

Truly wonderful. I have a Cinematic Titanic DVD on the way but I've not seen it yet so can't judge. Yet. And by the way, weren't we supposed to figure out whether or not we share Mayflower originationisms or something? The name in my family records is Tilley. I think we were the steerage Tilleys, not the abovedeck ones. ![]() -dale |
