The peacefulness or otherwise of Islam has been debated a hundred times on this forum and the conclusion is always the same: it's not the faith it's some of it's adherents that have a problem with peace, just as Christianity has had it's problems with the auto da fe etc.
Having a young Muslim woman staying with us while she attends university has certainly been an eye opener to me of the inherent peacefulness she finds in her religion, and i would like to remind members of the following dictum:
