Water cooled? Huh, that's a new one on me. Hate to think what would happen if it got a leak...
I enjoy being wrong too much to change my mind.

Several people at work said LED monitors have superior picture quality compared to LCD. So I went with this one. It's a decent sized monitor with extremely bright screen. The color is a bit on the "cool" side. I had to turn down the blue and up the red to get a warmer color scheme that I like.

This monitor has an HDMI connection. I plugged the cable in but for some odd reason the screen does not display my desktop that covers the entire screen real estate. There is a black/blank band around the entire screen, and it doesn't seem to be in native resolution either because letters are fuzzy. I plug in the DVI cable and the screen goes to native resolution at 1920x1080 occupying the entire screen. I'm not sure if this is due to the HDMI output of my video card or this monitor has some issues with HDMI input. I should test it with my DVD player with HDMI connector.

There was an added bonus with this new monitor. I used to get motion sickness when I play FPS games. It was pretty bad over the last few weeks playing Left 4 Dead 2. I switched out my old monitor for this new one and I didn't get nearly as sick over the last 2 days. I have no idea why that is but I am happy about it.
    Excellent deal and nice rig,
It makes me want to ditch mine and get a new one.

Yes, they do get leaks from time to time; however, 99% of the time, it's worth it. With the incredible temperatures the newest CPU's put out, it's almost de riguer. Last I heard, a quad-core CPU put out as much heat as a 100W light bulb, close to 500 degrees F; in the computing world, heat=BAD, cool=GOOD. Anybody who is serious about their computing power almost has no choice BUT to go with liquid-cooling.

    Oooh! Shiny.
About the HDMI GN, It could be because your video card HDMI is designed for LCD tvs and is unable to resize the screen correctly at full HD 1920x1080 for that nifty LED monitor. Nice to hear about the motion sickness thing maybe in the future i might be able to play crysis without getting a headache. Right now i can manage about 30 minutes before it hits me.

Well, since this is a computer thread I thought I might ask my question to ya'll! I have a HP laptop computer and recently bought a HP printer all-in-one. The dang thing isn't compatible with Windows 7. I've tried installing/downloading Windows XP or Vista and it goes through the motion of downloading but then comes up with an error message. I don't remember what the error message was but I'm getting frustrated with it. I googled Windows 7 Printer compatibility and possibly found some answers but I wanted to see what ya'll have to say!

Best bet is to check HP's site to see if there are Win7 drivers.

HP® - Laptops, Desktop, Printers, Servers, and more

Check download and drivers then enter your model name and number like officejet 2100 (I made that up) and then go from there.

    Hope that helps.

I have a cheapy, factory sealed, water cooler, that I didn't have to do anything other than mounting the fan and the radiator onto the chassis.

The real fancy water coolers are all built/assembled from components. The user has to connect the hoses from the water block to the pump, to the reservoir, and possibly to secondary water blocks sitting on the video card. Then he would need to fill the system with coolant and test for leaks. That's just too much work for me, and too expensive. So I bought a complete unit that did not require any extra work. I figure by the time this thing springs a leak, it's time to built a new computer.

Interesting...I will need to see if I can run a test using my video card's HDMI connection and my LCD TV. I don't have anything else that can take HDMI connection. My old monitor only has DVI and D-sub. I figure the Radeon 5770 should be new enough to deal with an LED monitor. Perhaps I was wrong.
