It's surprisingly noisy compared to the stock cooler. This is a 120mm model. I also have a 92mm model running in my P4 salvage. It's noisy as well. I want to try water cooling in my next computer to see if I can cut down on the noise.

Bang on. Not only that, add pet owners and people who don't work in clean rooms (cos as per the links, dust - which is everywhere, pet hair and cigarette smoke all are harmful for Apple Macs and their technicians. Who knows, someone among the techies could be allergic to pet hair).

Won't stand in court of law if the users decide to pursue the case.

Too bad I didn't take pics then.

Those stains also appeared wherever a door seal was leaking- it made it a lot easier for the mechanics to identify when maintenance was needed. After smoking was banned on planes, these telltales disappeared.

So there's a good argument to bring back smoking on planes to enhance safety?)

Use antifreeze - I'm told that water grows mold and algae no matter how tight the seals are.

The system I want to buy is already put together by the factory and there's nothing much I need to do other than put the water block on the CPU and bolt the fan/radiator to the chassis.

perfect! what you need is a CPU coolant radiator for geeks.

    Water Cooling Radiators at HeatsinkFactory.com

I don't know if the radiator comes with a built-in thermostat though.)

While you are at it you can also add a cigarette lighter for your PC!

Actually GN, water cooling always brings with it condensation and fungus problems like dalem said. Even factory produced seals will eventually leak.
Plus unless you are a big time demon overclocker water cooling is overkill anyway.
Something like this would more than fit your bill.

That won't fit in my case. Plus it's heavy as hell.

I'm not a demon overclocker. Just around 33% or so.

I've been fantasizing lately about just open rack mounting my crap in my closet.

^^ That's what I did on my boat, Dale.

I took a lower locker and converted it into a 19" rack, put a Compaq rack mount server in and configured it as a workstation. Then a 17" keyboard on a slide-out drawer and a flat panel display bolted on the locker door above.

Saved a ton of space and kept everything secure when the boat was bouncing around.
