Another interesting read. Lengthy (142 pages) but informative about their utility.

Except that there were enough factual errors by page 2 to make me give up on it.

If you understood the premice under which it is written under there would be no need for such comments. The paper is a study nothing more nothing less and makes no claim to absolute accuracy. Something we all know the experts here know as second hand. If you dont like it the choice not to read is all yours.

I didnt seem to find anything wrong within the first two pages within reason.

The paper merely serves to inform those not well antiquated with the subject to be a little better informed.

You would be suprised how many of those books out there and articles are ignorant of alot of things about them but I'm not the accuracy police.

I am just curious as to what makes we here on this forum absolute experts? Granted that there are folks here who's credentials are impecable (Rusty) and there are others here whom I am not sure what their claim to expertise is. All I am saying is, Fritz, what makes you the end all be all of facts and knowledge? I might suggest when accusing someone or something of being inaccurate you should state WHY so you don't look like as much a blind hater of BBs as some fools come on here thinking that BB's should be reactivated but not knowing why. BTW, I didn't see anything wrong with the LCDR's history, although the history sounded "glorious" I didn't see anything wrong with it.

I don't know if it's as much Trolls as "Button Pushers."

So where were you hiding for a couple of weeks? Hanging out on the West Coast?

Work is very busy and training afterwards has kept me away from everything lately with exception to a cold one now and then and an "atta boy" every so often.
I was happy to be told I have a chance at some open water field work coming very shortly. We shall see if that comes about. Otherwise then that all is fine and good.

Hows about yourself?

cRusty mentioned that shipyard is going to have a picnic in September so I'll have to figure out if I can make my first one. I think in the first 9 annual picnics, only one person from my former shop showed up for a picnic and he is a bum.

Nah,no electronics around me, They are too afraid I will break something important or it gets wet. I only get the mechanicals.

Hmm, I think I will see that particular Mod real soon as he has some time to kill. Ill take good care of him.

If I was on the west coast you know where I would be and no doubt stop in on yourself and Rusty while there. You just never know all they have to do is point the finger and say fetch and I'm on a plane.

As far as the picnic, why not go, atleast you can say you tried it even if you dont care much for it. Never know maybe a familiar face would make it more tolerable. That and a few cold ones ofcourse.

Hmmm maybe my buttons are easily pushed. LOL I'll let it go, I been feeling a tad punchy today. I'll just disagree that the LCDR was off his rocker.
