Nice Rick.
Funny thing was according to few gentlemen that were doing the actual towing was they were hailed several times at sea from ships passing asking just where they were going with that "big ol monster". A few larger ships even changed course to come closer to get a better look at her blowing their horns and hailing the captain of the tug. And please while transiting dont scratch the paint. The poor downspouts on the sides take a hell of a beating every time she transited the canal. And one of the most pleasant things was when she arrived on the Delaware she was met by not only thousands and thousands of people that lined the banks but also by the very same tug that helped launch her some 57 years before the Jupiter. Home again at last. ![]()
