    F-104 Vs F-15

    Your probably thinking this is the stupidest Vs thread you ever came across, and are reaching for that delete button right now...or the lol smiley...but please hear me out.

    I thinkt he same thing as you, what in the blazes, that's no context, but according to a program on Discovery wings, some morons actaully think the F-104 could have competed with the F-15....i'm assuming the first most basic model....

    now how did they come up with that? Any possible suggestions as to the logic behind that?!

    Yeah, not sure how they are comparing the two aircraft.
    Maybe the F-104 is faster at high altitude?
    That's about it. The F-15 is far more capable.

      If I built a 1/72 scale model of the F-15, and a 1/72 scale model of the F-104, I bet I could make a deeper stab wound with the F-104 model than with the F-15 model.

      But that's about all I can think of.

          Well the Italian F-104s did have Apside BVR missiles and the AIM-9L...

            what about.....if you took the oldest F-15 model, Vs the newest F-104 (i think the last was made in the 80's)....
