Russian-Chinese incurred few losses during the joint maneuvers (http://www.kommersant.com/page.asp?idr=1&id=606894)
Hey guys does accidental fatalities happens or the excersice werent carefully planned to do away with it.

In reality, as Kommersant found out, the maneuvers were far from to be flawless: during the fight with alleged opponents both side incurred noticeable losses, about which Moscow and Beijing prefer to keep silence. The first accident happened on Aug 12, when ships from the Russian Pacific Fleet dropped the anchors in Qindao: the crew of destroyer Burny could not locate one sailor radio-cryptologist Nikolay Degtyaryov. The Main Staff of the Navy received the telegram that the sailor went MIA during the trip from Vladivostok to Qindao. The telegram called Degtyaryov a radio-telegraphic specialist most likely, because the disappearance of naval cryptologist is far more serious incident.
Is this the case of kidnapping or defection.
