Your specs are correct. You may confirm it from the Klimov web site in english. The specs provided there are for RD-33. It is well known that RD-93 is just a modification of RD-33 that was sold to China.....

        http://www.klimov.ru/en/products/mil...engines/rd-33/

        RD-33
        Full augmented power (H=0, M=0, Sin=1): thrust, kgf 8300
        Max. non-afterburning power (H=0, M=0, Sin=1): thrust, kgf 5040
        Length, mm 4230
        Max diameter, mm 1040
        Mass, kg 1055

ps. Sorry I don't have Jane's fresh ediction. I have hard copy of an old version which was issued before RD-33 was modified to RD-93

I know Garry but there was a guy who thought that the RD-93 is not of the same dimensions as the rd-33, I told him that the RD-33 3 SERIES is essentially = RD-93 where the accessories for the engine are at the bottom for the RD-93 and on top for the RD-33.

This is because Chinese planes have accessorial connections from the bottom as the MiG-21s did as well and China's aviation is based on MiG-21 clning and hence the FC-1.....

The American engine obtained in the 80s also had the same characteristics.

Anyway the member was trolling and has been warned by the mods.
