I'm an Evangelical Presbyterian, and bloody proud of it. We use the Westminster Standards, in the same form that they were a good 400 years ago :)

I go to Church twice every Sunday, as well as midweek Bible Study and friday night youth group.

I said above that I was a Presbyterian. That's what I was raised as, and I also went to Roman Catholic Church.

I hereby convert to Lutheranism, for many reasons :)

I don't believe in the Sabbath :)

I don't really buy into the Calvinist notion of predestination.

So? What does that have to do with being a Lutheran?

I can understand that those reasons could make you leave the Presbyterian denomination, but being a Lutheran surely requires more than a simple statement 'I am a Lutheran".

Ie, you have to go to Church more than twice a year, and know a bit about Lutheran doctrine etc.

If you never go to church, you should just admit that you follow no (organised) religion, and leave it at that.

Oh, I know about Lutheran doctrine :) I've attended Lutheran church before and studied up on it.
