What jobs do you wish you'd had when you were younger?

It can be any job that currently exists, or any job that existed historically.

Some jobs I wish I'd had.

gas station jockey
electrical/telephone lineman
gofer
bicycle courier
Pony Express rider
mammoth hunter
atlatl/bowmaker/slingmaker
blacksmith
logger
raftboat pilot
privateer
anything in a helicopter
test pilot
sergeant-at-arms
knight's squire
beer taster/beer brewer
automotive mechanic
pool boy
just about anything on any ship of any historical period, except for the barrel boy or a stoker

Colonel - if you moved to Japan you'd be just the right age to start that job, and you'd have 20 years of job security ahead of you to look forward to.

A more succinct way to put it:

Right age, wrong country, move to Japan.

That's the office where the way-too-serious people work, the types who don't have any fun, and then enforce their no-fun way-too-serious worldview on everyone else.
