Coming just four days after defeating the Kings in double-overtime to win the Western Conference title, the Hawks rebound from a 3-1 deficit to beat the Bruins in triple-overtime. Both goalies were stellar!

THIS is going to be a damn good Cup series :)

Game 1: Chicago 4 - Boston 3 (3OT)

Game 2 will be on Saturday. Check your local listings.

At least you woke up with a favorite result.

My colleagues are very disappointed by my look today. Been offered a barrel of coffee already

Good game. Boston doing what it does best; gassing it right at the end. So it's 1-1.

And what a day this. A match each from the Confederations Cup, Champions Trophy and NHL playoffs. I'm bummed out.

I attended this game. The UC atmosphere was electric!

It appears that both Jonathan Toews (CHI) and Patrice Bergeron (BOS) sustained injuries. Bergeron was taken to a hospital by ambulance during the second period :frown:

Game 5: Chicago 3 - Boston 1

Blackhawks now lead the Stanley Cup Final series 3/2

Game 6 will be Monday night in Boston. Check local listings.

Dang, Man can't fall a sleep after a lead in the first period.

From All i Read Blackhawks made a turnover and scored 2 in 17 seconds span just 1 minute before end game?

Minnie, hope you put some money on your prediction ;)

Game 6: Chicago 3 - Boston 2

Chicago wins the Stanley Cup for the second time in four years :)

Yes Dok. The Hawks stunned the Bruins and scored twice within 17 seconds!

The Bruins played us tough. Every game was a battle. Gotta respect that fighting spirit.

I don't usually bet heavy. Probably won a couple grand here

You exploit Bucks pain...

No pain...just disgust.

Gotta play 60 minutes not 58.

I just had a conversation that explained it.

The Hawks set the standard this year...incredible start, tough but classy team. Great fan base that gets it...just like Bruins fan do.

An Original Six who's stars stepped up.

Go Red Sox!

Incredibly classy and a wonderful gesture.

It still hurts but not so much when you know it was to a team, city and fanbase which had so much class.

The morning was simply perfect, sunny and in the 70's. Just how I love it. The Blackhawks traversed the parade route in open top double-decker buses. Estimates say 1.5-2 million turned out for victory rally along the lakefront...

Rocky is so unlike his dad. Dollar Bill dying was the best thing that happened to the Blackhawks' franchise. There was a reason he was booed by fans during the moment of silence after his death.

And the same amongst Bruins fans when Jeremy Jacobs passes.

Jacobs is the bastard who kept the lock out going so long.

Already looking forward to camps opening.
