This next group is the goose-neck for the trailer, alot of detail here as with the rest f the model all with movable parts so you have to be careful where you apply the glue, another difficulty is attaching the ducting for hydraulic lines, one methods suggested is to drill out the recieving part so you can insert the 0.7mm wire into it, I have done this on the trailer but had already installed parts on goose-neck

Last lot for today, This is the start of the main winch housing for the tractor, main changes here are that the kit supplies a string for the rope I am going to replace this with fishing wire trace. and the other is the first of 10 axle groups for the trailer again these are movable so care has to be taken when applying glue, and lastly the D9R, It a good looking model but there is a lot of prep work to be done and in some places the resin is extremely thin and brittle.

Hey Builder,
The D9R that I have is put out by Vajra models, it is a resin kit and is very fragile in some places, I have found some parts are missing and instructions well lets not go there. On the brighter side there are a number of threads floating around RE Meng Model announced at the nuremburg model show that this particular D9R is on there books for release this year may be worth while waiting for that one to come out. The other downside of the Vajra resin is the cost.Attached Files

Here are some images of the real machines, the D9R is modelled on the Isreali armoured dozer and I believe the the US might also be using this machine. The images of the HET are of the US version but the British also have a version with the most distinct difference being the rounded bonnet as apposed to the square version

Well a little more progress has been made, there is an extreme amount to be completed on this trailer just setting up the wheel groups and running the wire for hydraulics, have also done a little on the D9R but this is mainly putting track links together, again time consuming and at times frustrating, don't think I am quite ready for resin models as there is so much more work to be put in and if your not careful you break things. First couple are gooseneck pretty much complete apart from spare wheel winch and some little extras, bonnet with photo-etch grill and last couple with four of the wheel groups in place metal plates in deck and all chocks and locks sitting in deck, still a fair bit of work before paint.

Hi all,
Could not help myself after completing the axle groups and getting wheels dry fitted so I sat my Diecast D11T on the trailer.
