Qadiani held for 'blasphemy'
MULTAN: Akbar Ahmed, a Qadiani, was arrested by Seetal Mari (Multan) Police on Sunday night under the blasphemy law for allegedly preaching the message of Mirza Ghulam Ahmed, founder of the Qadiani community. Akbar was arrested on a complaint by Abdul Rashid who alleged that he (Akbar) was not only preaching ‘Qadianiat’, but was also using derogatory remarks against Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). staff report

I must say that I find it most strange that minority Muslim sects in Pakistan are given to blaspheming Mohammed. I would have thought that those who proclaim themselves Muslim, as the Qadiani in this case do and Shia's in the previous case do, would not do so.
