How on earth can the the police and courts justify the cost of bringing this grossly stupid case to court yet MPs get slapped wrists for robbery , yobs are let off , Lords who kill people while driving and texting gets 12 weeks , appeals and gets out in 3 , it pisses me right off

A man has been charged with causing criminal damage to two hamburgers worth £5 after an alleged doorstep dispute with a fast food firm.
Stephen Morgan, 31, of South Wales, underwent a police grilling after he was arrested and taken from his home in handcuffs at the weekend.

He is due appear at Swansea Magistrates' Court, in south Wales, next Monday.

Morgan was at home in Culfor Road, Loughor, near Swansea, with partner Michelle Owen on Saturday evening.

The couple, who have two children, planned to stay in and watch ITV1's The X Factor with other family members.

A dispute is alleged to have started after an order of food with a local pizza parlour arrived minus two hamburgers.

Mr Morgan claims it was agreed the group should wait for the rest of the order, he told the South Wales Evening Post.

A dispute is alleged to have started with a delivery man who came to the house later, and £15 compensation was eventually paid out, he claims.

Police visited the address later that evening and arrested Mr Morgan on suspicion of robbery. He was taken to Swansea Central police station where he was questioned about the incident and held overnight.

A South Wales Police spokesman confirmed that a 31-year-old man was arrested on Saturday evening and has since been charged with causing criminal damage to food valued at £5

I read something a week or so ago that a 3 person gang barged into a home and threatened the family with bodily harm while they robbed the home. They forced the family to lie on the floor.

The elder of the family broke loose and went into hand-to-hand combat with the thieves and really knocked the hell out of one of them.

Result of Police investigation? The thieves were let go and the person protecting his family and home was arrested for aggravated assault and causing great bodily harm.

Grotesque' defiance of the Brighton bomber in the Commons

              By Tim Shipman

Brighton bomber Patrick Magee provoked fury last night after he used a reception in the House of Commons to parade his lack of remorse at the atrocity.

The former IRA terrorist claimed that the actions of the paramilitary group were no different from those of the British Army.

And he insisted he had no option but to pursue a path of violence.

Defiant: Patrick Magee with Jo Berry, whose MP father died in the bombing

Senior Tories last night branded his comments 'grotesque' after he equated 'the burden' of killing innocent civilians in terrorist attacks to that of soldiers fighting for their country in Afghanistan.

Magee, once the IRA's top bombmaker, was feted at an event in Parliament to mark the 25th anniversary of the bombing, which was designed to kill Margaret Thatcher, who celebrated her 84th birthday yesterday.

The organisers on the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Conflict Issues stressed the meeting was designed to promote reconciliation over the bomb blast that killed five people.

But asked whether he had sought forgiveness for his crimes, Magee said: 'Why would I ask for forgiveness? I did what I did in full conscience.'

Magee spoke alongside Jo Berry, daughter of MP Sir Anthony Berry, one of those killed by the bombing of the Grand Hotel at the 1984 Conservative Party conference.

But Lord Tebbit, the former Cabinet minister whose wife Margaret was paralysed in the attack, said: 'I don't believe that he is an agent of reconciliation.

'He has expressed no remorse. The world is full of mugs and he's found some here.

'Magee is still triumphalist about what he did. He didn't kill the prime minister but he came close and he is proud of it.' Magee was given eight life sentences in 1986 for the Brighton bomb and other offences, with a recommendation he serve at least 35 years.

He was released in 1999 under the Good Friday Agreement, having served just 14 years.

Tory MP Patrick Mercer, a former army colonel with nine tours of Northern Ireland behind him, said: 'It is both wrong and unacceptable to suggest the conduct of the IRA had the same legitimacy as that of the British Army. That is disgraceful.

'It is patently nonsense to suggest there was no way to bring about change without violence. There were others who took the political option and whose moral courage ultimately led to the peace process. To equate the murder of civilians with deaths in war is simply grotesque.'

Liberal Democrat Simon Hughes, chairman of the cross party group, stressed that the 'sensitive and difficult' decision had been taken unanimously by MPs from all parties.

'Our business is to enable discussion of difficult issues,' he said. 'I was an MP when the Brighton bomb occurred. For me and others this is not history, it's personal experience.'
I'm just waiting for the Congressional reception for OBL

                    That was Polanski.

But we literally have monthly examples of child molesters getting probation because of some Northeastern judge who's sympathetic to rapists.

Oh, and this 6 year old who brought a spork (multi-use utensil) that he received upon joining the scouts to school. Apparently the school thought this violated the "zero tolerance" policy on weapons and sent him to reform school for 45 days. It got on to the front pages of newspapers and every single major news network. The school board reversed the school's decision, citing "lack of common sense."

                        Life prisoner absconds on visit
A prisoner serving a life sentence for murder has absconded while on an escorted visit to a town centre.

Brian Clayton, 45, from Chelmsley Wood, West Midlands, was visiting Stafford with a prison officer when he was last seen at about 1525 BST on Wednesday.

Clayton is serving a life sentence at Featherstone Prison near Wolverhampton for a murder he committed in 1984.

The inmate, who is described as 5ft 9ins tall and wearing glasses, was last seen outside Boots in Market Square.

He is described as white, pale, of average build with cropped brown hair and having green eyes.

Clayton was wearing black New Balance trainers, faded blue Levi jeans and a dark blue Lacoste crew-neck jumper, Staffordshire Police said.

He has numerous tattoos on his arms and hand, the force added.

Police have urged anyone who sees him not to approach him, as he is considered potentially dangerous, but to dial 999 immediately.

Now to a really serious matter re the forthcoming new laws of Great Britain and Ireland.

To all the Scotch tasters and Guinness slurpers a plan for the clandestine rescue and removal of said breweries to a safer location before they are turned into kebab factories with nary a grain of barley anywhere, is now required.

The mission, should WABBERS accept it, will take brave men who are prepared to lay down their lives,,,or at least their glasses for a while to accomplish.

                          The need for this urgent mission is explained here;

                          Thursday October 15,2009
By Martyn Brown A RADICAL Muslim group sparked outrage last night as it launched a massive campaign to impose sharia law on Britain.

The fanatical group Islam4UK has *announced plans to hold a potentially *incendiary rally in London later this month.

And it is calling for a complete upheaval of the British legal system, its officials and *legislation.

Members have urged Muslims from all over Britain to converge on the capital on October 31 for a procession to demand the full implementation of sharia law.

On a website to promote their cause they deride British institutions, showing a mock-up picture of Nelson’s Column surmounted by a minaret.

Plans for the demonstration have been *delivered to the Metropolitan Police and could see up to 5,000 extremists marching to demand the controversial system.

The procession – dubbed March 4 Shari’ah – will start at the House of Commons, which the group’s website describes as the “very place where the lives of millions of people in the UK are changed and it is from here where unjust wars are launched”.

The group then intends to march to 10 Downing Street and “call for the removal of the tyrant Gordon Brown from power”.

The march will then converge on Trafalgar Square where protesters expect it “will gather even more support from tourists and members of the public, making clear in the heart of London the need for Shari’ah in society”.

The group declared: “We hereby request all Muslims in the United Kingdom, in Manchester, Leeds, Cardiff, Glasgow and all other places to join us and collectively declare that as submitters to Almighty Allah, we have had enough of democracy and man-made law and the depravity of the British culture.

“On this day we will call for a complete upheaval of the British ruling system its members and legislature, and demand the full implementation of Shari’ah in Britain.”

Last night politicians and fellow Muslims condemned the group’s incendiary comments, which come in the wake of recent violent incidents in towns and cities like Manchester, Birmingham and Luton, Beds.

Conservative MP and ex-Army officer Patrick Mercer said: “It is extremely distasteful and is stoking the fires of fear within the British public. “If anyone thinks that those views are a step forward in society they are seriously deluded. They are repellent and repulsive.”

The group was also attacked by Tory MP Philip Davies who said: “This march is clearly a deliberate and provocative attempt to incite racial tension and disrupt community cohesion.

“The simple solution is for these people to move to a country which already has sharia law.”

A spokesman for the Islamic Society of Britain said: “99.999 per cent of Muslims despise these people. This only serves to fuel racial *tensions.”

And Tory MP and Daily Express columnist Ann Widdecombe, said: “You cannot have two legal systems side by side and the one we have now works and the British people are perfectly happy with it.”

The rally has not yet been given final approval. A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said: “We have received an application for the march but we have yet to meet with the organisers.”

A Home Office spokesman said: “Everyone has the right to express their view so long as it is done sensibly, without violence and does not incite religious hatred.”

Plans for the march are revealed on the website Islam4UK, which is fronted by preacher Anjem Choudary who has also called for all British women to wear burkhas.

Explaining the Nelson’s Column mock-up he said that under sharia law the construction and elevation of statues or idols is prohibited and consequently the statue of Nelson “would be removed and demolished without hesitation”. At the base of the column the friezes would be replaced with Islamic decoration and giant urns would be filled with gold coins for the poor.

Mr Choudary has said that under sharia law in Britain people who commit adultery would be stoned to death, adding that “anyone who becomes intoxicated by alcohol would be given 40 lashes in public”.

He has also mocked the deaths of British soldiers, and branded an Army homecoming parade a “vile parade of brutal murderers”.
