  • Norman Borlaug, father of the Green Revolution, died at 95

This piece of news slipped by me last month. Norman Borlaug, the father of the Green Revolution, died at 95. He was a University of Minnesota grad who pioneered agricultural techniques and advances that made it possible to keep the world's population fed.

My deepest respects to the gentleman and condolenses to his family. A very well respected figure in India indeed. He helped India when it was coming out of Colonial oppression.

    God bless.
