Thomas Ricks' "The Gamble"

I'm in the process of reading Thomas Ricks' "The Gamble" right now: http://www.amazon.com/Gamble-Petraeu...0012553&sr=1-1



So far it's what I expect from Ricks - a hard hitting account that offers some solid if at times polemic criticism of the military's performance in Iraq. No big surprises yet, but I'm only into chapter 2.

I'm about 75 pages out from finishing, but it's right in line with the reviews/comments from Andy Exum's blog.

Thanks for the link Shek. Am definitely ordering it.
In truth the comments were much more entertaining than the actual review. I hope to get my copy delivered at the end of may.
