What color paint and effects did you use to get "that" look on the wheels and tracks?

That answer has always escaped me..

I painted the tracks with "hull red" and then used "MIG Pigments
European dirt". After that I drybrushed it with "aluminium flat".

Do you use a magnifying glass when you work on the details? Or are your eyes that good?:))
