  • Zimbabwe compared to Auschwitz

Times of London has an article comparing Zimbabwe to Auschwitz.

The time has come for Africa to move away from its traditional alliances and closer to the western democracies.

If not then our geniuses must go and explain their policies to the victims.

Uncle Bob ain't listening. We are huffing and puffing but nobody seems willing to blow the house down. If we go in "it's the World Police poking their noses in again" The whole world knows he should go, but as long as he's got backing from his Armed Forces it looks like he's staying put.

And if we do go in we will be accused of imperialism and another "war for oil".

And his armed forces are irreverent. A single division could occupy the whole country and defeat his "military". Third world armies of that sort are geared more towards torturing the opposition in basements and suppressing riots then fighting wars.

At last Mugabe has declared a state of emergency in Zimbabwe ref the cholera outbreak and has asked for outside help , this after calling the western nations ,especially the uk ,, one of the things he said was ,, keep your little pink noses out of our business ?

I hope the west does help , the people who live there deserve help , and the 1st part of healing would be to lynch that bastard up.

sometimes after reading the news you feel that the only help that Zimbabwe really needs is one man with a rifle.
For Gallifrey! For Victory! For the end of time itself!!

Yes we should help but intervene? They must deal with their own problems and not make us look like the 'Imperialists'. They may their bed, let them clean their out their own 'sheets'.

I don't see why somebody hasn't killed this thing (Mugabe) yet. I don't see why other African nations have not taken him out.

Really, does Africa care about itself?

I can't see the world doing anything about this, it's up to the people in Zimbabwe or Africa.
