  • A big thank-you to Dreadnought

Just got home from my trip to the battleship USS New Jersey

No pictures until tomorrow but I did want to say this before I turn in for the night: Dreadnought is an unbelievably generous and knowledgeable guy.

A big thank-you sir, you're a great guy and I do thank you for making a good weekend truly great.

Anybody who has any reason to be in the Philly/South Jersey area must visit the New Jersey and they've got to ask for him as their tour guide.
“He was the most prodigious personification of all human inferiorities. He was an utterly incapable, unadapted, irresponsible, psychopathic personality, full of empty, infantile fantasies, but cursed with the keen intuition of a rat or a guttersnipe. He represented the shadow, the inferior part of everybody’s personality, in an overwhelming degree, and this was another reason why they fell for him.”

I was lucky enough to tour it myself two years ago.

Very small door ways, small cabins and super narrow staircases with thin stairs. If you are a person of considerable size you may be a bit uncomfortable. I don't know how tall you are TH but I slammed my head at least five times. :( Cramming 230lbs of me though the small doorways was quite a sight. Somehow I still loved it. :)

My friend Barry slid down one of the staircases because of how thin they are.:))

My favorite part was the depleted uranium gun turret.
