Chinese involvement in war is often in the very background when discussing world war 2 issues even tho there are alot of dead people there.

mh at least here China is discussed (but more into the direction of Japanese war crimes).

My take would be the Partisans on the balkan.

              South east asia and china.
General Slim did an excellent job with the leftovers from the European and Pacific theaters.
Stillwell (brilliant fellow though) did an equally excellent job of annoying everyone he met.

                I would have to say South-East Asia/China.

Also have to say South-East Asia.

Got hind tit from both the British and the Japanese (the British gave what was left over after their troops went to North Africa and the Japanese gave what little they could spare from Manchuria and China).

Middle East. Can't remember a movie on it, for a start.

                      China-Burma-India without a doubt.

Almost everyone has heard of Stalingrad, Normandy, etc but how many people know about Field Marshal Bill Slim and the 14th Army at Kohima and Imphal? Or about the Wingate and the Chindits or Merrill and his "Merrill's Marauder's"?

Interesting side note; one of my great uncles served in the USAAF in this theater and flew P-38s in support of the Americans and the British/Empire/Commonwealth forces fighting the Japanese in China, Burma and India.

                        I second that.

And the amazing output of war equipment.

What about the North East Pacific Front. The invasion of the Aleutian Islands in Alaska. Which was actually the only invasion of real American Land. This is hardly ever study, There were a couple of major battles there.
