Pedestrian on Interstate 5 struck, killed by vehicles

A pedestrian was struck by several vehicles and killed yesterday morning on northbound Interstate 5 authorities said.

The Medical Examiner's Office identified him as Michael Flatman, 40, described as a transient. Witnesses told the California Highway Patrol that he was struck about 5 a.m. while lying in the roadway.

Several lanes were closed as emergency crews responded, and traffic on I-5 was backed up for miles during the morning commute

Ouch! A self fulfilling prophecy? This will probably make "News of the Weird".
